Some People Hey Dont Read Before Buying !

Hey All,

Well with the post yesterday about the monopoly card, I thought hmmmmm lets put this to test so made auction for immediate payment, to p*ss on scambusters fires first all,

Guess what 40 quid buy it know

30 mins later paypal email of payment

emailed the guy to confirm he was happy he said yeah then emailed to ask if was mcdonalds advised wasnt and refunded him !

did this twice more today exactly same !

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=8787622592&sspagename=ADME:B:RTQ:UK:1

now from my point of view i wasnt deceiving people just seeing if people would buy everyone concerned has had mutual agreements and refunds,

But lets put it this way

If i did send via paypal they are getting what they paid for its not mis described is it now,

Why dont people think before handing over money, They then come moaning theyve been ripped off !

I know what you are doing with this auction but can I please advise you to remove the phrase "Paypal Only ! If you dont take postal insurance, Then i cant claim if arrives damaged ! "

Any insurance you want to take on an item is for your benefit, not the benefit of the buyer. Whilst is obviously doesn't apply in this case if that is a standard phrase then you may have problems with 'real' auctions as paypal don't care whether you offer insurance or not, if an item is lost you will lose a chargeback if the buyer complains.

I like paypal, but I would always urge users to protect themselves when using it.

I think it proves that people 'see' what they want to see. I'm sure half of the people who bid would swear blind that when they read the auction it said 'McDonald's' in it.

We've had people do the same on here, state that they have a problem that wasn't mentioned in the auction, yet when they link to the auction the 'problem' is there, they just hadn't seen it or hadn't wanted to see it.

It's like your brain says one thing and your eyes see something different.

It does prove though why people get fleeced, a lot don't help themselves and yet still want to blame someone.

I reckon, and it's just my opinion, that the buyer could make no claim against you as you had delivered the item you said you would. The worst that could happen would be negative feedback.
