All the best. Keep at it.
No more staying in the cold and wet, no more smelly clothes and breath. Better skin complexion.
This is so much worth it!!!!!!

Good Luck :j
I packed in for the umpteenth time 2 weeks ago - this time for good ( she says  )
If you smoke 20 per day you could pay off one of thoses c/cards. Im saving £1667.12 - now thats a fat mortgage piggy
I got patches from my local smoking cessation service and they definately help. Official DFW Nerd Club Member #37 Debt free Feb 07 :cool:0 -
Good point "OOps a daisy", do not discount patch or chewing-gum. This is not cheating and can really help in the first few weeks. Worth the investment to keep the nag at bay.MFW on your mark0

Well done Bellie, it's one of life's harder challenges. I gave up three weeks ago this Friday, I went cold turkey. It's been really, really hard.
Quick tip - avoid things that trigger smoking, like alcoholic drinks, at least for the first two weeks when your cravings will be at their worst.
Also you should definitely count up the amount you would have spent each week and deposit in a savings account - this is a great incentive to stay off the fags and it's really working for me.
Keep it up, you CAN do it!0 -
I'm reading allen carrs easyway for women to give up smoking and its already a revelation! Its the best advice I've ever been given and I'm well on my way to stopping for good. Once I've finished it I will post it on to someone for free as I really believe in it and want someone else to get the chance to use it rather than it gathering dust here!Quit smoking 18/08/070
