Advise needed!

Have been reading the sites page on reclaiming ppi on loans and credit cards. Have noticed that many of the claims have been on the loans people have taken out and not the credit cards. Was wondering if there is anyone that has been successful with reclaiming credit card ones.

I have a Barclaycard, which i have had for a few years now, and pay a considerable amount on payment protection. Although on the statement it does say its optional, i feel its a large amount to be paying out for. If i can claim the money back then is it worth a go?

Any advise greatfully received!

Hi There yes I have had PPI returned fro a Barclaycard although this had to go through the FOS.

You have to work out how you were miss sold. You cannot just claim it back if you took it out knowingly.

Hi there

Like what Maxdp says if this was mis sold you can try to reclaim on this, it does not matter if it was a loan, credit card, store card and so on.

Here is the link to help you through this, check this to see if any of the mis selling reasons occur to you, then you you come across templates, write your own reasons and they have 8 weeks to respond.
