My cheeky daughter has got felt tip splodges on her beautiful (new) duvet cover, silly me, I didn't treat it before I washed it so now its been washed about 5 times since and I have tried various things inclucing Oxi action max and stain devils for felt tip to no avail.
Does anyone know anything else that might help? I have considered buying something pretty to sew/wonderweb over them but can't find anything suitable. Its mostly pink.
Thanks

Dab with a cotton wool bud/ball soaked in methylated spirit (maybe test colourfastness on a corner first), then wash in soap flakes, not detergent as soap is more effective with ink!!!
Other than that, you would need a specialist stain remover.0 -
There's a thread on getting felt tip out of kids clothes that might help:-

There was a thread about this a while back. I'll see if I can find it. If I do I'll edit this post.
Edit: It was about removing tomato stains, sorry, but it might help.

It might well be similar to white spirit, or brush cleaner, or just plain thinners. It certainly does the same jobs.

Who ever invented the darned things should be hung drawn and quartered. Felt tips should be banned they cause more damage to furnishings than anything else .one of my pet hates along with chewing gum and bubble gum0
