Contesting wheel clamping charges

Yesterday evening I parked at retail park car park which I have used on occasion for the last 6 years.

When I returned to my car it was clamped and the ticket issued stated the clamping was for "exceeding the resticted time limit". There is no charge at this car park and the ticket had been issued 10 minutes before I returned to my car and the clamper was still on site. I had to pay the £130 charge for releasing my car. The clamper who is a franchisee of Parking Control Management ( South) Limited said the new restictions had been in place about a month. At this point I saw notices had been erected stating maximum parking time is 3 hours.

I do not know the precise time that I parked and the ticket issued does not give this information only the time my car was immobilised. Does the clamping company have to produce evidence of my arrival time if I contest the clamping and fee?

The site location on the ticket does not match the name of the retail park so is this also grounds to contest.?

Any advice on how to challenge this exhorbitant charge would be greatly appreciated.
