I have no toolbar.... you know the bit where the drop down bit is for tools options and internet options etc

any body else having this problem and any work arounds?

since upgrading from 6 to 8 everything has ground to a halt... does ie 8 need more memory to run?

thanks

arrrrrghhhhhh blinkin thing... wish I had stuck with IE6

Right click on toolbar, and select menu bar.

Out of interest, does "Find on this page" work when you press Ctrl+F, or do you get a gray bar?

Try this for now - go to your Start menu > Run and type in the following command, and click Ok:
    regsvr32 oleacc.dll

Then go back to the Run box again, and type in this command:
    regsvr32 actxprxy.dll

The above commands have helped to fix IE8 a few times for me, after installing it.
Everybody is equal; However some are more equal than others.
