i undewrstand the frustration.. belive me I do...
but if your solicitors are being told "awaiting paperwork", I do not think they will tell you anything different.
What you can do is get your solicitors to put pressure on the others, ie.. if your are waiting on them specificly, start setting deadlie for progress..
though to answer my own point, experiance tells me setting deadlines does not always do anything other than make me feel better.. by making me feel I am in control....lolThe only place where success comes before work is the dictionary…

I was getting so fed up with a delay that has been going on for over 2 months that I contacted my seller's seller's solicitor. I was very polite and he was as nice as pie.
He explained the delay but I couldn't do anything to hurry things. I guess it reassured me but little else.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. Most solicitors won't talk to you, ask your solicitor to find out what paperwork they are waiting for & where it is supposed to be coming from.0

In fact, solicitors are not allowed to speak to another solicitor's client directly and the solicitor silvercar mentions could have been in trouble for doing so.
Ask your solicitor what paperwork they are waiting for and whether it is normal to be waiting this long. If you are still not happy, make an appointment to go in and see them. This will hurry them up if they are dallying and give you an opportunity to make them go through your file with them to make sure it is not them who are causing the delay.0
