Have bought an Omega kitchen - or have I?

I'm really worried that I have been conned by my kitchen supplier. We ordered an Omega kitchen and were drawn out a plan etc by the supplier and it was ordered.
When it arrieved - problems began. Bits were missing (screws and legs) then I found that my supplier had ordered my end panels and plinths (for the island and end tall cabinet) in the carcase material and colour instead of the door colour and texture. Having chosen a high gloss kitchen this difference would look really odd. He's ordered the correct ones but at a huge cost now.
As well as that my fitter doesn't believe that the kitchen is Omega as there is no logo on the boxes, paperwork or anywhere. The kitchen looks a different colour to the magazine ( but that could be lighting). My mum has a Sheraton kitchen which I believe is also another trading name for Omega as they do the same kitchens but she has Sheraton engraved on her hinges. Mine has something small that starts with a P but cant read it well.
Is it possible that a supplier would sell me a cheaper kitchen making out that its branded? I feel really diappointed not only with the kitchen but with the lack of advice I have been given.
Any advice please?

Hi, Interesting!
Unfortunately this sort of thing is fairly common. If I were you I would ask the supplier for a copy of the delivery note you will easily be able to make sure it is for your kitchen. If he refuses then you will know for sure. There is no reason for him to refuse as the delivery note has no financial information on it.
I am a little familiar with the Sheraton brand and yes the hinge plates have the branding, but I am not sure about the Omega brand. The main difference between Omega and Sheraton is that Omega is supplied flat pack and Sheraton is pre assembled.
You could give Omega a call to ask how you could identify parts that would confirm you have an Omega kitchen. For instance they could tell you what you could expect to have printed on the boxes etc.
Anyway, I hope this helps. Let us know how you get on.

Hi
I actually work for Omega and will be able to advise whether the kitchen you have is a genuine Omega kitchen or not. Please contact me on 01405 743333 and ask for Chris in Marketing.0
