Hi,
Im wondering if anyone is having a problem with you tube tonight?
I have found that whenever i watch a you tube video it stops and starts. I have called my internet provider (SKY) who said that my internet connection was slow, so they have done a couple of things and have increased my internet speed, they have also asked me to plug the connection into the test socket IYSWIM.
All other pages come up fine, but watchin videos tonight is really annoying. Is anyone else having problems. Sky are going phone me back tomorrow incase its justa problem with you tube.

Works fine for me. Can I suggest you download and run CCleaner: http://www.filehippo.com/download_ccleaner/?
If this doesn't resolve you problem try testing your connection speed at: http://www.speedtest.net/
What does it report back as?
If this doesn't show anything wrong then have a look here:

Hi There thanks for replying.
On speed test it says:
Download speed: 3.78 Mb/s
Upload speed: 0.35 Mb/s.
It was working fine yesterday

Decent enough speed. Have you ran CCleaner? Have you read through those pages?
I'd suggest if neither of these prove fruitful then reboot your router.0 -
Thanks David,
Have ran ccleaner and rebooted my modem, but still not sorted. Its the buffering thats slow, it seems to "catch" up with it then stop, then starts then stops etc.
Im at a loss as to what to do. IM afraid im not "computer techie" lol.

I spoke too soon, it seems fine now. Hopefully it will stay that way. Thank you.

can also try advanced system care 3 which can optimise your computer for internet usage.

what a normal speedtest result ??
Mine worked out
1.46 mbps download
73 ms ping
There's no such thing as 'normal' speed, it depends on so many factors. What speed does your service offer? Most lines under 2MBps would be considered slow these days, but for general use that may be fast enough for most people. No free lunch, and no free laptop
