Internal door latch stays

Hi all,

I have bought a set of 9 second hand internal doors on ebay, complete with the hinges, handles and latches. The trouble is, we forgot to ask for the little "stays" (if that's what they are called?) that are fitted in to the frame itself for the latch to shut in to. I know the house be bought them from has now been gutted so we can't ask now, and our current doors don't have proper ones, so I was wondering if anyone knew if you could buy these, or if we would have to buy the whole latch kits to get them!

Some hardware stores/diy places definately sell them individually as I remember seeing them (can't remember the store though, sorry!), some only sell the whole kit. You'll just have to look round I think.

You are looking for "strike plates" it`s very rare to buy them on there own because they are usually matched with a barrel latch but this company seems to sell them
