I bought a bulk lot of plain postcards from ebay and they pre-printed my name and address on which saves me a lot of time.

I've just written my very first tie breaker, but I just wanted to check that a word with an apostrophe in it (like 'it's') only counts as one word and not two. I don't want to inadvertently break the word limit.

More times than not it is counted as two.

I wouldn't risk an envelope if it doesn't say postcard or sealed down envelope in the t&c's.
Though you can make your own postcards from cornflake boxes birthday cards etc, that way you can p'haps individualise it to the comp.

    Good Luck

Thanks very much for that. It's a good job I checked. I've easily reworded it to fit the word limit, but it doesn't sound quite as good to me so I might have a total rethink.

These are all competitions featured in the latest issue (May 2007) of Glamour mag.

    Terms&Conditions for all competitions:
In addition to telephone entries, entries can be send on a postcard, stating the answer to the question, full name, address (including email) and phone number to: PO Box 7273, Colchester, CO2 8XT, with the competition name clearly marked. Indicate if you do not want to be added our mailing list, which is sometimes made available to carefully screened companies.

Do you think you can put all the answers on one postcard? Or is it a separate postcard for each question?

    Thanks
