Outlook Web Access - argh!

Recently started using web access for outlook. I don't find it "instinctive" to use at all, unlike all other systems I've tried.
Current problem is that I'm trying to email a group of people. When I clicked "send" I got the following messsage: "One of the recipients can't be resolved". I looked over the list and thought "aha - I need commas!" so added commas between addresses and tried again - same message.

I don't know which email address is invalid (I presume this is the problem) - will it tell me anywhere? Will it send email to those that it could "find"? Am I bombarding those poor folk with copy after copy...??

How do I tell it to send the message to the addresses it can send it to...?? :o:mad:
In fact, how do I edit the "to" field?! It takes the addresses out of that box and puts them on a line above??

    Hi Helen,
Try adding a semi-colon between the addresses instead of a comma - that should work!

I'm pleased it's working :j - I've never liked OWA, normally very slow and clunky - though I am still to find the perfect webmail solution!
  • I like gmail - sorry, googlemail - myself but that's for my own use, not sure it would be suitable for company / professional use...?

One of two uses for the semi-colon. That being a "complicated list".

Being a Microsoft product, OWA may be one thing which is better experienced in Internet Explorer. I think you get better functionality using IE.
