Just had letter back from Shop Direct / Littlewoods refusing to refund my premiums for mis-sold insurance. They say I agreed to the policy even though I was told it was essential with my account and I cannot complain to the FOS as they were members after my policy was taken out!
I have just wrote back clarafying some of their blatant lies. I will await this response although I will be writing to the FOS anyhow.
Anyone else had any successes / unsuccessful claims with this company?

Good for you going to the FOS about this.
Originally the FOS would not be able to investigate complaints if that finance company were not regulated as such, but as from reading a few threads today the FOS are now supposed to be dealing with ALL ppi complaints.
I have as well earlier emailed the FOS about this just to be sure, and awaiting a response on this, I will post up if and when I hear.
So if this is the case then it will be good for everyone and especially for the ones who thought there was no other way around it.

I've been paying this insurance for years, when I tryed to cancel it they told me that I had to have it to have an account with them. not really sure what it's supposed to cover!!
