Shame - given the LTV you're right, I can't see any other lenders taking it over.

Is it £185,000 before or after the £30,000 offer from Advantage? There's no harm in asking your adviser if there are any options available to you?

I may be missing something, but I don't really get why you'd need any input here- you're being offered £30k, what is there to think about? :)

    Barter for a bit more ? ;)

If your problems were a few years back and your record has been good the last year you may be able to find a lender, your only looking now for £155k, so about 80% LTV?

    What does your broker say?

That's more promising. So what has your broker suggested, have they looked at other lenders for you?

My understanding is that maybe Kensington, Advantage & Morgan Stanley are one and te same.
We occasionally get phone calls from an 0870 number with referrence to our mortgage, but when you put it in to Google, it has dozens of results saying it is Kensington, so my guess is they are one and the same.

Or at least related in some way :rotfl:

My broker decided to pack it all in as of 27th May this year cos business was too tight, so currently looking in to finding a replacement.
I could use someone through work, since our business has a lot of contacts, but a little concerned about them knowing all my privates :o
