Anyone having trouble watching anything on iplayer?
I used to be able to watch things with no problem, but in the last week or so, literally nothing works! I often check my download speeds, which are fine. Thought it may be due to peak time throttling, but just tried again now, and still no luck.
Bit confused.... and annoyed as I have a few Apprentice episodes to catch up on and can't!

I assume you are trying to stream the programs, not download them? Is it bringing up a message "insufficient bandwidth"?Northern Ireland club member No 382 :j0

Yes, I'm trying to stream them (which worked fine up until recently).
No, not getting any kind of message - it goes to video, and I get the circles in the centre that go round which indicate it's loading, but then nothing happens. The circles just keep going round and round, and the video doesn't actually appear!0 -
Works fine for me. Can I suggest you download and run CCleaner: http://www.filehippo.com/download_ccleaner/?
If this doesn't resolve you problem try testing your connection speed at: http://www.speedtest.net/
If this doesn't show anything wrong then have a look here: http://iplayerhelp.external.bbc.co.uk/help/streaming_programmes/0 -

Awesome, thank you so much! CCleaner did the trick... and freed up 8GB of space as well!0 -
OK. Now I have downloaded the program I want from Iplayer. How do I burn this onto a DVD to keep ?
I didn't know the new series of Top gear had started so hadn't set my recorder to record it from the TV.0 -

I'm afraid you can't, well easily anyway! They automatically delete themselves after 30 days, or 7 if you watch before then. If you do manage to burn them to DVD, you probably end up not being able to watch them since the licence will have expired.Northern Ireland club member No 382 :j0 -
Hi,
if you get the option for 'more downloads' you can save to WMP, you may then be able to burn to dvd.0
