Hi everyone
Just to let you know that I have received a letter back from Black Horse and they have said that they cannot help me with my complaint, as having looked into it according to them I have not been mis-sold. I also cannot complain to the FOS as they were not regulated by them until 2005. (Please see my previous post). I have, rang the FOS today to ask if this was true, and they said although Black Horse are correct in saying this, however, the FOS, ARE, looking into ALL complaints regarding mis-sold PPI etc.
They have took my details, said that they would contact them, and said that I can write back to Black Horse telling them that I have contacted the FOS.
I don't know if this is going to get me anywhere, but all I can do is hope and try to fight this injustice.
If you get the same info back from Black Horse, then still complain to the FOS.
Kind regards.

Hi Tommy
This is good then and hopefully the FOS will investigate and this will go in your favour.
And thanks for posting this, many of us over the last year have had our complaints thrown back at us because they were not covered and pre 2005, so this will also give many hope.:T
Will keep everything crossed for you Tommy, the very best of luck.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
I claimed against Black Horse/Lloyds TSB earlier this year. They turned my claim down twice so I went to the ombudsman.
I had to do a bit of chasing as the ombudsman lost my paperwork/forgot about my case but I just got over £3,500 back including interest, the amount I spent, a sorry payment etc! The entire loan was only for £6,000 so that's a great result.
Seriously, DO keep up with chasing your claim. It's a pain but it is worth it.0
