Lost2, your IPA starts from whenever it's set up and lasts for 36 months, as long as your situation doesn't change (you lose your job or your income drops suddenly for some reason), in which case it can be suspended.

My OR mentioned BRU/O during mine but only as a comment. I asked further and was asked 'Do you think you should get one?' I quickly said 'No, but I am a worrier'. She said it was highly unlikely as only a few people get them.
