Would need to know some personal information like how old you are, are you having unprotected sex, are you regular normally and how long have you been having periods, are you on medication/under stress/ill, to start with. Send me a pm if you'd rther keep it private.0

What were you using as contraception before you started trying for a baby? When did you stop this contraception?
I know the pill and Depo injections can mess with your periods for quite a while for some women.
Have you been dieting or not eating all your meals?
If none of these ring any alarm bells then I would definitely be getting myself an appointment with my GP to find out what was wrong.Thrilled to be DEBT-FREE as of 26.03.10

I'm pretty sure this is medical advice which isn't allowed. You need to see your GP if you're concerned. Think happy & you'll be happy

I wanted to say the same as hayley - go to see GP!!!! There could be many reasons for stopping periods, but only a doctor can tell why yours stopped.Spring into Spring 2015 - 0.7/12lb0

Hi, for the last 3 year Ive been very irregular, probably having about 6 cycles in this time. I was really stressed out and they stopped. I went to the drs and had to go to hospital for some blood tests to see if I was going through the menopause (only 33 at the time), which I wasnt. The dr told me you dont have to have a period to be healthy. On the plus Ive got my 3 kids, I would imagine it must affect your fertility, so I would go to the drs.0

We are not allowed to give medical advice on here.
Go and see your GP.

definately with the others here. You need to go and see your GP. There are hundreds of reasons for this and your GP is the only one who can do the tests to find out what the cause is.0
