Has anyone else received a letter from Alliance and Leicester regarding PPI. They are asking me all sorts of question whether I felt I was mis sold etc etc. I have until 15th June 2009 to reply. The problem I have is I do want cover on my loan I guess if I say I have and claim funds back I will not longer be covered.
Please could someone help?
Thanks

Hi there
And the answer is "yes" many have and have received a questionaire.
To be honest if you think you were mis sold for any reason, I would also write to them with a reclaim letter, as they tend only to offer goodwill payments, if done by questionaire only, and besides if you taken this out the last 6 years, they should already hold the details from when they sold you the policy.
You can complete the questionaire if you want to, or write a short letter to tell them you have enclosed a "full reclaim letter of why you believe you were mis sold, so please refer to that" and also please refer to the time this was sold to me which should still be held on your systems.
However, if the finance was taken out longer than that, maybe they no longer hold your details where the questionaire would then be necessary to complete.
My brother in law received a questionaire but have left that uncompleted but sent back with a full reclaim letter.
Guidelines and templates on here and ask for help when required, good luck.;)
