ebay security for buying event tickets?

Hi
Does ebay have a rule with sellers who are selling tickets for events that if buyer does not leave positive feedback immediately, paypal does not release the money?!!
i ask this as i recently bought some tickets and have been asked to leave feedback immediately upon receiving them, otherwise Paypal will not release the money for 3 weeks as a security mechanism.
is this tue?? wher do i stand??
also the event is not til another few weeks so it would NOT make sense to leave immediate feedback as tickets could be fakes / dodgy??
any info on ths will be greatly appreciated!

Yes, it's not unusual.Terms & Conditions Apply0 -
Nope, its Thursday.
If you're happy with the transaction, and the tickets aren't dodgy, then leave feedback. To be honest, if someone keeps pestering me for feedback, I ignore it and delay it.0 -
Even if you do leave feedback, if the tickets are dodgy you will be able to get your money back through paypal and that's the most important thing, right?:j30/7/10:j

This is very common, you of course dont have to leave feedback, but the seller may cancel your tickets to resell to someone else. Unfortunately its a chance you have to take.
If the tickets are fake you can make a claim voa paypal anyway, if they dont let you, just proceed to a chargeback through your Credit card company.0 -
thanks for advice!
i didnt think about him cancelling the tickets!! is ther any way to stop this, as he could easily say he has lost them and get new ones re-issued!!
as for chargeback i paid thru paypal via my debit card which is linked to paypal account...so not sure if i could do a chargeback!0
