Hi All,
I need to replace my 7.2 Kw electric shower. The problem is that it has to have a bottom right side entry point for the rising main.
Does anyone know of such an eletric shower?
The closest I have found is a Heatrae Sadiae Sapphire (http://www.tlc-direct.co.uk/Technical/DataSheets/Sadia/HRSAP7.pdf) - but this doesn't have an automatic cut-off switch.
Thanks,
Pete.

We fitted an Galxy Aqua 3000 in our last flat. The supply entry is bottom right. Smallest it comes is 8.5kW.

look at the MX desire LSi, phased shutdown as well.

8.5 kW at http://www.bes.co.uk/products/088.asp0 -
Bear in mind that if you increase the kW rating you may have to uprate the supply cabling. No free lunch, and no free laptop0

Thanks, However I want to stick to 7.2 kw. 8.5+kw will require re-wiring which I want to avoid.0

adjust the pipework to suit and use a mira sport 7.5kw
other option is a triton and use there spacer plate

Haven't seen that spacer plate before, could be a good idea, maybe a bit obtrusive. Ever used one yourself, what are they like fitted?0

Pipe work can always be adjusted to suit, The last 1ft of pipe could even be 10mm minibore if space is a issue
Have never used a spacer plate so cant comment
I prefer to fit only mira when it comes to electric showers and would always alter the pipe to suitHi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure0 -
Thanks andyhop - how difficult/expensive is it to alter the pipework from a right side entry to a bottom left side entry (for the Mira)? Is it also easy to move the cable?

Redring, Triton and MX all do a 7- 7.5kw, bottom right entry, bit easier to alter to suit, and leaves less holes in the tiles. Pain to move the cable, unless there is slack already.
(Redring active, MX Duo or Expression or Triton T70 or T80 range)
Redring needs most, cable point is top right internally, Triton in the middle-ish, left or right hand side, I've never fitted an MX Duo.
http://www.tlc-direct.co.uk/Main_Index/Showers_Index/index.html site has fitting instructions for triton and redring

for MX
to give you some idea before you buy.0
