Does Windows 7 use the same drivers as Vista or do you have to download different ones?
Thanks in advance for your help.

You can use the same drivers, but if drivers for Windows 7 are available it would probably be best to use those instead.0

o Install Windows 7 RC
o Perform a "Windows Update"
This will find additional drivers not embedded in the Windows 7 image.

I'm having huge problems installing my pci-e wireless vard and motherboard drivers. Supposedly vista compatible and have tried updates, searching online etc. Either get BSOD (usually when trying 'compatibility mode' ) or install the drivers seemingly succesful and then a code 31 in device manager. Haven't even bothered trying my soundcard yet, which was bought way pre-vista.
Seems to be a great operating system thus far apart from installing new hardware. Haven't had a single issue with a program or game yet.0
