general questions re CSA

Hi can anyone answer few questions re CSA

did a calc based on net income of £200 a Week 4 children (2 with one partner and 2 with another ages 17, 15, 9 and 7)

says weekly payment is £43.00

this is based on nights spent with nrp as 52-103

however very complicated as 2 children youngest live some 170 miles away and to ask for a variation due to cost of keeping in contact then cant use the 52-103 nights - how do you know what they would use to offset against payments working out if you are better off claiming the nights spent with NRP or the variation?

also the other 2 children dont stop 52 nights a year and only live about 40 miles away and the 17 yr old will be 18 in Nov

how on earth can you work out what is payable and is there an easy way to work this out?

also if there are children in the house that the person is now living in albeit they are not their children but their partners children does this have an effect?

thanks in advance
