I missed 2 calls yesterday from Next (DOH!), but called the customer services today (0845 610 0510), and they told me I'd automatically been given a slot from 7.30-8am on friday! I then received my password and confirmation via email once I'd registered.

Worth calling them if you think you might've missed their call?

(My first VIP in 6 years - so excuse me if I'm a tad excited!!)

Next rang me out of the blue last night telling me i'm invited to their VIP sale.

The first thing he asked me for was my e-mail address, which I was a bit reluctant to hand out in this day and age to someone that's called unexpectedly and unverified.

The sale before last I wrote and complained that I had not recieved an invite so they apologised with £15 of vouchers and I got an invite to the last sale.
Just rang up to ask where it was this time, no doing! Even when I pointed out to them that it was costing them £15 each time and surely it would be better to encourage me to spend my money with them....

No wonder they're really struggling to make money.

Last time, (I've never had an invite !) someone gave the two letter code to be used at the beginning of each item.

You logged in as normal and used quickshop with the amended item code and it put it in the basket with the sale price.

Doh, i thought i had got a good slot but i bet its all gone by the 1st. Oh well, at least it will save me money!
