Yup LTSB have them (or they're at least 'pre-approved.') They're annoying, because you can't remove them, and I'm highly unlikely to accept anything they do offer.
(That said - I've yet to see any of Barclay's (pre-)approved offers online - probably the way the accounts are run.)Conjugating the verb 'to be":

How is your barclays account run?0 -
Lloyds TSB do not show you what you're pre-approved for online. They just do offers, which are subject to credit checks. Barclays has real-time pre-approved limits online.
Lloyds TSB have pre-approved limits, but you must go in branch on phone them to find out what you can have. Lloyds also do not have faster payments online yet.
Barclays PIN SENTRY is annoying though, but they do have pre-approved limits, faster payments and a very good internet banking facility.0 -
How is your barclays account run?
Low values running through the current account, no valid cash card, no pin-sentry required, about £7k in savings.
If the offers are of the 'approved' type (as opposed to 'pre-approved') the account is probably not eligible for anything.Conjugating the verb 'to be":

I guess all online banking has it's ups and downs
I would recommend Barclays - regarding PINsentry, it is not required if you are setting up a new payment to a known 3rd party like utility companies, local councils, credit or store cards etc, but is required if the 3rd party is eg friend or family member. Also is it not required for every log on , if you just require access to a balance and statement, you can log on with no PINsentry. I for one appreciate the additional security of even if it is a little bulky
It also offers faster payments, customised offers, and free Kaspersky internet security.0 -
Barclays Online Banking is currently being redesigned to make it more user-friendly, I think the new version should be out in the Summer.0

Is it just me - what's up with the Barclays login, it's extremely slow today and it's like this a few times every month. What's your style?
My style? You can call it the art of gambling without gambling.0 -
