I have recently recieved a letter from the Natwest offering me £1600 under the financial hardship rule. Not bad but I have actually claimed for £4600. I need the money but there is no way I am taking 3 grand less than they owe me. Can someone please advise me as to what I should do.

They are probably offering an amount to ease your immediate hardship, any remaining amount can still be persued upon completion of the test case.0

Just to add to what Carlos has said, if the amount of priority debts(mortgage/rent, council tax, utilities) are lower than the amount offered, I would accept but ask that they look to increase the amount to x amount to clear those arrears.I have recently recieved a letter from the Natwest offering me £1600 under the financial hardship rule.
