I got mine today as well mine is a kind of toffee colour. still waiting for my daughters hopefully she will get the chocolate one then we can mix and match as and when :-)

I did not find that it had a strong smell at all. Perhaps you used too much? I got three washes out of the sample. It made my stuff really nice and soft. I have used the coupon and bought a bottle.
