New Freeview Box

Hi,

Just tried to install a freeview box onto my daughter tv. It is a Techwood DVB 670.

It has installed ok and the picture is fantastic but why can I only get BBC channels? I've tried rescanning but it's just bringing up the same channels.

The aerial is in the loft and this aerial also feeds a tv in our bedroom which has freeview built in. We can get all channels on this tv.

Any ideas as to why I can't get the same channels on the new freeview box?

Try taking the box to the tv in the bedroom, if it works on that aerial input, then you've got a problem with the feed to your daughters tv. If it doesn't work on that one, then its maybe either faulty, or just not as sensitive to the signal.

Thanks for that Squirrelz, you may be right about the feed as hubby brought the tv from our bedroom into daughters and still we could only get bbc channels. We'll try it your way around as well so then we'll know for definate.
I've just plugged the aerial straight into daughters tv and we can get the 5 basic channels via the aerial.

Just tried the box in our bedroom, where we normally get all the channels and it's still the same (bbc channels only), so I assume it's a problem with the box. Will take it back and try another one.
