Alliance & Leicester - successful claim in January but no payment yet!!!

Hi,

I successfuly reclaimed my PPI from Alliance & Liecester - YEH!:j
BUT it's now been 5 months since I recieved the letter confirming that they were going to repay me. How long should I wait???

I've rung A&L twice since the claim was agreed in January, first in March then in May, only to be told that the claim had been authorised & was in the finance office awaiting payment to be issued, and there was a backlog:mad:

Funny how they managed to take my recalculated loan payments within 2 weeks:rolleyes:

Anyone else having this problem or got advice on what to do next? How can they sit on several thousand pound of my money for 5 months?

Hi Wendy

First of all, well done on your success.:beer:

There have been many more in the same situation as yourself, as you may have noticed by browsing through the threads, if you had time to do this yet, with the same company as well.

I bet they would pay out a lot quicker if they all had to pay an extra penalty sort of thing for every week your waiting lol.
