Hi

I had an endowment policy, which through the critical illness part of the policy paid out in full due to ill health. The policy stated that I could take out another policy while this one was in force with the same benefits or more benefits if I was willing to upgrade and pay for them .

I did take out another policy which was a life insurance policy and due to a medical problem cropping up between taking out the two policies the insurance company refused to offer critical illness protection with the new one.

My questions really is:

Does anyone know the name or term for the what I'm talking about (that's if I'm making sense of course!!!??) or have even heard of this?
