£530 (ish) has been credited to my account today.
Does anyone have any idea what this amount represent percentage wise? I appreciate that it wont include any interest on the charges.
Or is this too much clutching at straws (given no one here saw my I&E sheet that i sent in (on which I was fairly lenient)
be nice to have a bit more though!! but as that well known supermarket says - "every little helps"

Why won't it include interest? Don't they pay interest on Hardship cases? I assumed they would?
Congratulations :T on getting something back from them though. I went to FOS re: Hardship - who in turn wrote to Barclays on my behalf. Barclays have now written to me saying they are looking into it........hope this is a positive sign.:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j0 -

My opinion is, as its not the full amount (is a partial settlement to "help with your current situation" as barclays put it, I just assumed it would not include the interest until after the conclusion of the test case.No Longer works for MBNA as of August 2010 - redundancy money will be nice though.

Also regarding above, I called Barclays to ask about what it represented - they didnt know but said they would send me a list of charges. - This arrived today.
It only goes back to March 03 (and my HArdship claim was out in July/August 08 - and my first letter before this)
Also, its not a list of charges, but a summary - apparently there was nothing in 03/04 (which is possible but unlikely due to reasons at that time)
I had 3 referral fees in 05 totally £75
06 was apparently 1 for £30
No dates or anything - take I should write back saying the list is "useless" (i will find a better word) and that it should be going back at least to August 02 and possibly further. No Longer works for MBNA as of August 2010 - redundancy money will be nice though.

Thanks for the updates. I am still waiting to hear back from them on my claim- they did say no later than 26th June - so I assume within a couple of weeks after that date.
My husband has similar claim. Received one letter saying ....looking into it and will get back to you ......and the next day had a letter asking for his account no./sort code cos they can't find him? Very odd - especially as they have all those details - and have written to us previously delaying due to test case. Now all of a sudden he doesn't exist? Will be interesting to see what they come back with next?????:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j0
