HSBC PPI reclaim, do they send a cheque?

Hi, just wondering if I won my PPI reclaim against HSBC, would they send it by cheque or would they automatically put it on my card account? (I dont want it to go on my account) do you have a choice? thanks

Hi there

This varies from one company to another, if there are no arrears - missed payments sometimes they can send the cheque directly to you, or some will put toward the repayments of your finance, you can always write if successful if you want this paid directly to you, if no arrears etc, good luck.;)
