Im not to sure where else to ask about this but here goes....
I purchased 2 tickets for me and hubby to goto see michael @ the o2 in september, we mentioned it to our neighbour and they asked if we could get them tickets (2), so with great luck we managed it (not long after they were released), however it was a diferent date, but they didnt mind, back in march/april my hubby's health wasnt that good, and been advised not to travel from doctor, so I was in a situation where we cant go so I was stuck with two tickets, and not that long after our neighbour decided she couldnt go(some sort of family occasion) however... alittle nasty not to pay for the tickets, instead... she lets me pay and now im stuck with her two as well!!
I now have 4 tickets(2 for each diferent dates) and im not sure what or where Im meant to get rid of these, I emailed ticketmaster hoping they would be understanding but far from it. they said no refund is given under any circumstances.
does anyone know what I can do or where I could sell them - is ebay any good for things like this? I dont have any of the tickets yet, aparently ticketmaster said they will be with me definately at least 10days before event! so thats not giving me long to sell them!! :-( aaaarrgh
Im really worried as we simply dont have the money to pay for these tickets, in future I shall certainly not be buying anyone else tickets untill they pay for them first!!! thats what I get for being nice!!!

Plenty of people sell tickets on Ebay without actually having the tickets in-hand. As long as you state in the auction that ticketmaster may not dispatch until 10 days before the concert then you're ok.
Make sure you charge £5 for P&P and send the tickets when they arrive via recorded, next day delivery to whoever wins the auction and they're covered in the post then upto £500 (I think).
The only issue with selling these tickets on Ebay that I can see is that Michael may not actually perform, in which case you would have to refund the buyer so maybe wise not to spend the money you get for them till the gig actually happens!!0 -
I think that since it's MJ he might not perform anyway so I'd wait untill you get the tickets in hand and then put them on a 5 or 7 day auction on ebay.
I think you will find that you will make a tidy profit from them anyway so don't worry yourself too much0 -
My guess is he wont turn up, so you will get a refund.
But if he does show , my guess is you will make more than face value on ebay, although lately there are so many ebayers selling concert tickets that there are some great bargains to be had.0 -
www.seatwave.com or www.scarletmist.com, but I'm leaning towards agreement with photome if you are willing to wait that long.Gone ... or have I?0

I would not be happy with you neighbour either. That is shocking that they wont pay you for them.0

Hey Hannah2008...I'll buy the 2 tickets, what seats are they and how much?:)0

Im devastated about it if im honest, they have hard quite a hard time lately with other personal things thats why im staying so calm, and I dont want to fall out with them as I still have to live here!!! In future I shall not be doing this again though, lesson learnt!
I have had quite a few PMs asking to buy them, PMed them back so hopfully will get a buyer soon, if not then I will try my luck on eBay nearer the time of the concert
Im hoping to sell them maybe 2 for £200, because they cost £75 each, which isnt including ticketmaster fees and postage admin costs etc... im not 100% sure what else they add on but somehow it seems to cost ALOT more than £75 per ticket! then on top of that the costs to post them to the buyer, so I would of thought £200 for 2 tickets isnt too bad. Im just wanting rid of them if im honest, not really looking to make profit! If I was to make £10 or £15 profit from them Id be quite happy, but my main concern is patching up the hole on our credit card! hehe0 -
What are the two sets of dates exactly?
If you contact me nearer the time (ie when you get them) I will buy two of them.0 -

This is classic. You know that you are not allowed to sell on MSE, even at face value, so instead you proceed to try to make a profit whilst selling on MSE! Methinks you would be better named Scammah, not Hannah. :rolleyes:Gone ... or have I?0 -
Just saw this and was amazed at how many people said at the beginning that chances were he wouldn't perform.
Are you all fortune tellers? Now proud Mumto3 :j0
