Usk Open Gardens weekend - a great day out

During the last weekend of June over 28 private gardens in the lovely old market town of Usk will be opening their gardens. On 27 and 28 June between 10am and 5pm you can have a wonderful day out for just £6 for one day or £9 for the two days. This is the 15th year of this very successful event and all money raised goes to local charities and good causes. The Victorian Courtroom and Rural Life Museum will also be open and the local brass band will be playing in the square. You can get delicious food at all the local pubs and cafes and support the local WI by buying home-made cake and a cup of tea.
