Forget West Country farmhouses, the budget hotel chain Travelodge is launching a 99p cream tea.
Guests at its top holiday spots will receive an extra large scone, a pot of Cornish clotted cream, a choice of strawberry or raspberry jam and a collection of teas.
Offer runs from now until the end of the Summer at the following Travelodges:
Blackpool Central
Blackpool South Promenade
Brighton Seafront
Cockermouth
Eastbourne
Edinburgh Central
London Covent Garden
St Austell
Torquay
Windsor
I gather it's open to everyone, whether you're staying there or not.
