Moving abroad: removal insurance recommendations?

As a family, we're moving the house contents to NZ which will take approx 2-3 months by boat.

Can anybody recommend any good contents insurance companies to get some quotes from to cover loss/damage, etc....?

Many thanks.

Contact a good broker with experience in marine insurance. Rates are expensive and vary according to whether the property has been professionally packed or not.

If you are having your belongings shipped by professionals they should offer insurance to you too. I used a company called Sevenseas Worldwide to do some storage and moving for me, mine was in the UK but they offer insurance and they ship all over the world.

Take a look at this link it tells you what they offer, never moved overseas so hope it is of some use to you and good luck with your move.
