Bath Panel

Hi All,
We have bought a steel bath and were originally planning on creating an MDF bath panel and tiling it using our wall tiles. We really dont want a plasticy looking bath panel.
Just wondering what bath panels you have?
If they are tiled, how is it done to ensure the wall tile pattern flows to the bath panel?

I built a frame and used marine ply attached to the frame, then stuck tiles onto it. The lines follow through on mine but I did make a panel at the tap end and instead of grout used mastic which was the same colour as the grout so I could cut it and remove it if I need access to the taps, it is attached by magnetic clips. At the other end of the bath I also made a removable panel with access to storage space for bits and bobs.0
