hi i have been tryin to put a film on a disc,,it last 1hr 40 min,,the disc I use only take 1 hr 20 min,,is there any was I can put this on disc,,my dvd does not play divx files

Well... for VHS simply open up the little flap and very carefully taking a pair of scissors cut the........

But seriously.....
You might be able to over-burn the CD, but other than that the only way is to eidt the film and recompress it, but you'd lose a lot of quality in the process. You could re encode the film assuming you can transfer it to pc and then encode it to divx/Xvid that way you can have over 5 hours on to a dvd 4.3gb or more
You can get cheap dvd players now that play mpeg4 now or a pc will do the trick0 -
i wouldnt even bother with a cd or dvd, all my films are divx on a memory card with usb adapter. plug it in and watch without fear of scratches!Target Savings by end 2009: 20,000

I dont trust solid state devices particularly usb pen drives I have lost numerous data on them lucily have backups, but there fine for temporary stuff0
