Unsure on PPI
Options

I've been reading about all this and I'm not sure whether I am really eligible to claim. In the past, I've always had PPI on car loans, my main one being a £17.5k 'options' scheme for 3 years on a new BMW. I know I was paying about £430/month but having thrown out the paperwork, I'm unsure as to how much the PPI was on this or whether I did even.
Is there a way I could go about getting this paperwork back and would it be worth it.
Thanks

Hi there
You can actually request for the CCA (copy of the agreement) by just enclosing £1 postal order or cheque payment, they should supply in the post by 12 days, post by recorded delivery.
You can though also request a SAR (Subject Access Request) where they have 40 days to comply and send everything possible as requested on the SAR of your account(s). But there is a charge of £10 postal order or cheque payment for this request, however this may be useful to help your case if required later on.
SAR template here:

In regards of reclaiming PPI if you were mis sold, link here with more info and templates:

In the template, write in your own reasons, they have 8 weeks to respond in full.
If they do not resolve this for you by the first response, you may get the opportunity to write back to them for them to reconsider, then in the final letter response they should give you details of the financial ombudsman service (FOS) if your not satisfied with the outcome and if eligible.
Post by recorded delivery to ensure your letters reach the depts, good luck and please keep us posted, and if you require more help, also post up.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0
