What would you do??
My husband wants a Rascal van and I have found one on ebay that looks ok. Problem is they have lost the log book and MOT. I realise I can look up the MOT, but would you buy a vehicle with no Log Book? How can I check this is legit? Seller has 62 feedback 100% positive.

Might be genuine but personally I'd avoid.
Leave them your phone number and tell them to give you a call when they find the log book0 -
I know I wouldnt buy a vehicle without proof of ownership. You could always phone up DVLA I suppose and check, they will probably want a few pounds off you for the service. Then i'd pay another £4 for a HPI...0

ask for the registration number then text it to 83600. They charge you £3 for this but they will give you all the details for it including whether it is stolen.0

Walk away until they "find" the log book...
There are plenty of cars and vans for sale, why take the chance on a stolen or ringed one?0 -
It may have come from a salvage yard, hence no documents. I think the lack of MOT would put me off as much as no V5.
ML.He who has four and spends five, needs neither purse nor pocket0
