Redundant, and a job in China with the same company

Hello,

I was made redundant by my company 2 weeks ago and I start my one month notice period the 8th of June.
From the 8th of June I don't have to come back to work 9written black on white).

They applied for 2 jobs in the same company, one in the same place and one in China.
I may not have the answer for the job in China before the 8th of June.

My questions are:
- I am still entitle to the redundancy pay if I refuse these Jobs (salary not sufficient, terms and conditions, found something else?)
-Because they won't give me the answer for China on Monday (manager away, need to negotiate term and condition), when is their deadline before I am entitle to the redundancy pay even if I get the job afterwards?
-(Stupid question) but if I move to china, I am still entitle to redundancy pay (not same position, not the same country, may be a French contract by the way), I guess not, but I'm not a fine lawyer.
-It's written that my last day of employment will be 8th of June, without any contract sign on this date and only a verbal promise, Do I still have to work my notice period.

I am currently quite lost, and I don't really know how to handle that, so can you please give me your advice or knowledge if you're a lawyer..

thanks

Azban

You are not actualy redundant till the last day, then you are entilteld to the payment. your comapny can withdraw the redundancy at any time.

If a possible suitable allternative is found before then you can trial this for 4 weeks and if you don't accept on the grounds it is not suitable still be entitiled to redundancy. (pay, conditions, location are all good reasons)

If there are jobs still under consideration then you should still be in the consultancy phase of the redundancy process I don't see how they can have set a date yet.

You should have it in writing how they are terminating you, if they are paying PILON then you should not have to work your notice and you date is probably 8thJune(see above), if they are not and giving you garden leave then the date of termination should be at the end ofthe notice period.

With the job in china but research that carefull if you have not been before, especialy the renumeration package and tax situation and continuity of employment if you ever come back.

Best not tell your employer you have found another job outside untill you are sure you will get paid any redundancy.
