Removal of small kitchen wall

Hello, please could you tell me if you think a quote of £750 for removing a 7ft high, 4ft long internal wall (non supporting wall that extends half way across the width of the kitchen), making good the ceiling and erecting a new partition wall is a fair price?

I should add this is the price excluding VAT.

Any ideas thechippy what would be more reasonable?

get two or three more quotes. £750 plus vat sounds pretty expensive. The cost of work like this can vary wildly depending on what type of tradesman you use. A proper building company will charge you the earth whereas your local builder/handyman could probably do a decent job for half the price.

    Sorry for late reply.....

    A bit more info.

How big will the new wall be
    Will it have a door
    Do any electrics require relocating
Are they going to fit new skirting / coving
    Whereabouts are you located

I would say about £400 max inc materials. Shame you're in Bristol, too far away for me....;) Get some more quotes!
