VBulletin - Auto Tags

folks...hope you can help me
Am helping a very good friend out setting up his vbulletin

I want to be able to set up the auto tags which i believe is a hack

trouble is I have not got the 1st clue of where or how to find out how to do it

Can anybody give me any pointers or even better an idiots guide of how to do this

Also where is the best resource for info on setting up vbulletin?
Have tried joining a few forums but they all seem to require the licence number

That wouldnt be a problem if he wasnt on his honeymoon for 3 weeks
