Hi All,
I have a question. My current set-up is:
Sky+ with RF2 sent to the Loft to an amp with that signal sent to the bedrooms with a Magic eye in each. I have no Freeview/Terrestrial aerial connected to my Sky set-up and am using the normal Aerial socket downstairs to send the signal to the loft for distribution.
I have just purchased some new Freeview capable TFT's for the Bedrooms and now want to fit a Freeview aerial. I want to combine the signal from a new Aerial with the Sky+ signal (without loosing the return path for the Magic Eye).
I have looked at a number of loftboxes but those with 2 inputs are filtered for VHF and UHF meaning that I cannot connect my Freeview aerial to the VHF socket and my Sky to the UHF.
The more expensive loftboxes have a specific input for a UHF aerial and the Sky 'return path' BUT require the Freeview signal to be combined with the Sky+ down stairs and then sent back to the distribution box for transmission to the rooms.
As I only have one cable to my main viewing area (and don't want to run another) these boxes will not work.
Does anyone have any ideas (I hope I have made myself clear)?
Thanks in advance

Not too sure what you mean my friend as normally the Sky+ bos has two cables for the LNB i/p's [you say you only have one cable to your main viewing area] however you will need to run the freeview/terrestrial aerial to the sky TV in to combine the signals which will then O/P from both RF1 & RF2 -- dave0

I do have both the LNB inputs but only 1 Co-Ax from the main viewing area into into the loft for the RF2 output. I want to combine the freeview aerial signal and the RF2 output in the loft and not at the Sky Box.0
