forms to council ,concerned re wages!!!

hi i posted last week and got some help from u guys but now have anouther ? i took my forms in to the council re h/b and c/tax benefits ,my salary that i earn monthly is 975 after tax,hubby made redundent so looks after boys ,the ? i have is in april i cleared £12oo as we were so short i took annual leave on top of normal wage to give us much needed extra cash,mays wage slip was basic salary again, i explained this to council and they said ok but to bring in junes slip aswell,thats fine but again i used a/l t bump up wage to the 1200,obviosly i will run out of a/l at some point,and am concerned that the council will take this extra as a permanent earning on my yrs salary,hope this makaesz sense andcan anyone tell me if they will use the basic salary,thanks abi

If you regularly are paid over your basic wage then it is likely they will take this into account. However if it is just on the odd occasion or as and when required then they should use your basic wage.Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043

Just take in your wageslip each month you get it if it changes and they will adjust it accordingly, dont worry a few bigger payslips in the year will not mean you loose benefit for the rest of the year.:j Baby boy Number 2, arrived 12th April 2009!:j0

Take in your wage slip and pop a note in at the same time stating that your wages were higher this month but will return to normal on x date, so that they know, then follow that up with your lower pay slip. They'll take the higher wages on their own and adjust when your wages return to normal.0
