Went to see OH's nan and she spent the whole time banging on about death! Never once asked about us, his job or made any fuss over the baby except a dig we weren't married! I left feeling right depressed!
just had to comment - I loved the faces on all the oldies at FIL's church when they first met Christopher (introduced as FIL's Grandson/ OH's Son) the first thing they said was "oh I didn't know h 'd got married" then the response came "he's not" cue OAP looking very faint :rotfl:

Skinty - that belly belt thing IMHO is very unnecessary, especially for you as you are a n experienced yoga-ist (what's the proper word for someone who does yoga??) I bet you'll ping back no trouble.
I've also heard that babies/toddlers love doing yoga with their mummy too :D
I'm quite glad that it is going to rain on Sunday as Jasmine has been invited to a birthday party on Sunday. Invitation says fancy dress and bring a swim suit and towel (weather permitting)
Now I am no prude and have not brought Jasmine up to be one either, but I am not happy at her going to someones house and getting changed in and out of a swim suit infront of people that I do not know !! Am I being a bit over the top?? At least if its reining, then its just fancy dress :)
there is no way I would let my LO do that unless I knew she could get dressed properly herself in the bathroom or something unless I was good friends with the parents (and knew there weren't any aunties/uncles etc that I didn't know who would be there)
The very best is sometimes what nature gives us for free.

OK astounding progress has been made on the living room but I suspect that I may have overdone it just a tiny bit.

I will now be retiring to bed with a book and for once will not be coercing my beloved to join me. Goodnight all - is it any use asking for someone to have produced an infant by the morning?

I'd love to but don't think I count!

Righty, I'm back.. missed half of them already! Feel better for my bath - roasting tho!

I've been reading Feelie's thread too.. Really feel for her - so much going on! :( Just wanna give her a great big hug!

My FB friend has got back to me already :D She's helping out at the breastfeeding class this Saturday - the one I'm supposed to be at but I think my place has been cancelled - will check ASAP! If I can't get my place back, she'll come up to see me instead and has given me the name of the midwife I should track down for more advice (as she's only in training at the mo). She's suggested fennugreek tablets for her personal experience too so might give them a go - best check with the SCBU nurses first in case it might cause probs for Rhys. Might see if I can go down to see the midwives who looked after me tonight if it's quiet down there..
