I just cant understand that at all !! My mum has always been there for me and my sister, to an extent so has my dad, but he wasnt as good when we were kids, it took both of us moving out and having families of our own for him to realise he had a it of making up to do !! (him and my mum are still together BTW, just all he did was work and go to the pub when we were kids)
One of my friends at school though, her mum ran off with a younger man and she lived with her dad, his girlfriend was a right b!tch and her dad took gf side on everything, so she ran away at 15, put herself through the rest of school, got a really good job and just got married last year !! Hasnt spoke to either of them in 10 years and is much happier that way !

Not supposed to be like that though MM. I always think I must be a horrible person as she doesn't want me. Told me that when I was little. It got worse when I switched off, only way I could handle it!

I'm tired now. Bedtime - and I only finished eating dinner five minutes ago!

I put away our wedding cards today and saw that my grandmother used the sheltered housing's calligraphy lady to write my card. Glad would never have written "God Bless You" in it, and it all got a bit much for me so I had a little weep in the shower. Which turned into full scale sobbing and dribbling all over OH's shirt.

Need to set the alarm now. Appointment with the doctor at 9am. Why do I make these offensively early appointments?!

my mum was only interested in money ... until zoe was born then she thought she could start again even pretending zoe was hers :eek: x

Fell asleep then had a bath as my legs were all sore. Still dizzy as hell, bath may have made it worse... :rolleyes:

Beenie, is it gone yet? My DH agrees with MM's, only he'd happily defecate on his face also.

My Mum is great, not nosey and not alwasy around. I like space. Pity they can't babysit more often, but they are slaving away in our little family empire so hoping to reap the rewards in the future
