Hugs tara, I hope you feel better soon.

I was just on the phone to my auntie M as she went to visit Auntie j. She said she is a bit worried auntie J is just carrying on as normal:confused: she has decided to take over the sitting with her from her daughters and their kids for a bit coz she thinks she is trying to hold it in for her daughters and the kids. Auntie J is in her 80's and has only just recoverd from major surgery herelf so we are just hoping with her sister she might feel more able to grieve. :o

They have also arranged the funeral for next fri when i have my scan so there is no way i can go:(

I have said i will go and vist her soon when the funeral is over and she is happy that i am in the second trimester - she is a bit old fashioned:o feet up in the first trimester and all that. I am sure if the bean is ok the scan pics will cheer her up. :D

    Hi all..

New news on Rhys.. There's talk of him going into a cot with no wires and monitors :D At the mo, he's got the glowing probe on his foot and three sticky pads, two on his chest and one on his leg, all of which will come off if he goes into a cot. Then he'll just have the feeding tube up his nose which needs to stay as he'll be tube feed for a while longer, due to his kidney problems and them needing to know exactly how much is going in (hard to do with breastfeeding!) and how much is coming out (by weighing the nappies) to know how well his kidneys are working (plus by taking blood tests etc). Tia, sorry I meant to say, he's in a BabyTherm - open top inci :)

Had 90mins of skin to skin with him earlier, most of which he slept through. The times he was awake were spent grabbing my necklace and searching for it again once I moved it! Afterwards, I put him back in his inci and he was wide awake so we did cheerleading for a while, him holding on to my fingers, me lifting his arms up, chanting "Go Rhys, Go Rhys" and him staring me in the face with a "My mummy is nuts" expression! :o

I've been up since 6am and still not had a nap.. Powered by baby hugs and fruit loaf! :D
