Phew, it's taken me ages to catch up tonight. There has been a lot of chat today (considering SM hasn't been on much!!!!).

SM - congrats to you and your baby boy. He looks gorgeous. Look forward to hearing what name you have picked.

Sugar - good news about your friend.

Mrs Moc - nice to hear you are still hanging in there.

September girls - I submitted my MATB1 form last week, so my due date is 20th Sept, and I am taking my mat leave from 20th Sept. I am also taking 4 weeks annual leave beforehand though so finish work on 21st August. I understand you have to state your leave as a week beginning on a Sunday.

Heard some bad news tonight - a girl I was at school with who befriended me recently on FB was due tomorrow. She gave birth to a still born baby boy on Saturday. They couldn't find a heartbeat on Friday. It's so sad. I know that miscarriages are bad enough, but I can't imagine carrying a baby for 9 months, having bought everything, decorated a nursery etc, and still having to give birth to a baby when you have found out it's not to be. Such a shame.

Yeah, carla, I live in Grimsby (where the woman was stabbed). She was brought to the same hospital we're in

You'll be pleased to know Sami has boobs which feel like they're made of concrete! I remember that feeling.. waking up on Day 3 and feeling like I'd had an elephant sleeping on my chest! Means it's all working tho..

OH has just nipped out for a McDonalds. We've done Rhys' cares and he seems really settled tonight. Not the next time, but the time after that when I express, I've got to put it in the freezer cos we've got enough in the fridge for the next day of feeds.. Hurrah for building up freezer stocks again!
