    I'm of the generation that had to learn both imperial and metric, and LSD and Decimal money!
    I still convert things, even now! LOL!

    I'm so old I really did learn about rods, poles,chains, and perches. But I've stopped converting.

    So did I and and have always used imperial measures. Sometimes I convert the price of something in the supermarket back to £sd and think :eek::eek::eek:
    How much ,then I don't buy it I find something else .I still think that ten bob for a newspaper is appalling:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:I am to old to change my ways now .

    I struggle with centimetres. I always try and convert in my head what it would be in inches.

    And when it comes to buying a piece of beef, I have to get my mobile phone out to work out the cost in lbs.
